Experience the natural beauty of the Cliffs Of Moher with a full-day trip from Limerick. With your driver and guide, travel along the Wild Atlantic Way, and be treated to stunning views of this rocky region. Make stops at Leamanagh Castle, Caherconnell Fort, and the ancient burial ground Poulnabrone Dolmen, along the way. At the cliffs, you'll have plenty of time to explore on your own and admire the incredible views of this natural wonder. Look down from the awe-inspiring 702-foot height (714M), as you stand on Europe's wild western front, and be sure to mind the edge. Learn about the history of this ancient region with lively and friendly commentary from your knowledgeable driver/guide. Tour includes hotel, B&B, Hostels pickup and drop-off and entrance fees to Cliffs.

Begin the day with pickup from most accommodations in Adare, Limerick, Shannon and Ennis. Alternatively, meet your driver and guide at the Tourist Information Office in Limerick at 9:45am and Ennis 10.30.

From here, head across the famous Burren region, a unique Limestone landscape that is often compared to a lunar landscape; see breathtaking views across Galway Bay (weather permitting). Make a stop in Ballyvaughen for lunch (own expense).

After lunch, drive with your guide along the Wild Atlantic Way, which will take you across the Blackhead Drive, with it's stunning views of Connemara and the Aran Islands. There will be time to stop for a few moments to reflect on this ancient region and admire the flora and scenery.

Next is the the highlight of our tour: the majestic Cliffs of Moher along the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way. Here, take in awesome views from the cliffs, which rise 702 feet (approximately 214 mt) from the ocean. There will be ample time for photos. Here you can take an optional Atlantic Edge Tour (included in price) or simply enjoy a coffee.

You'll learn about how the dairy produces milk, before Andrew drives you over to the fields where you'll hear about the local history of the farm, and will also discover how Irish farmers work with the grass growing seasons to produce the best quality milk.

After your tour, join Sharon in her spacious farm kitchen to learn to cook an authentic Irish meal created from family recipes. Your hands-on cooking class will last about two hours, and you'll learn to cook three Irish dishes from scratch. You'll bake a traditional Irish soda bread, churn own own butter from milk from the farm and prepare an Irish stew, before you sit down at a farmer’s style table to share the meal you helped prepare.

Join this family for an unforgettable farm and culinary adventure in County Limerick!

A fun, warm and loving couple, Sharon and Andrew make you feel like part of the family the moment you enter their home. Andrew runs the family-owned dairy that produces milk for the famous Kerry Gold butter! Sharon’s biggest passion in life is cooking for her family and friends.
Her cooking knowledge was gained through years of experience, first from her mother and as she worked in the hospitality industry all over the world. Her interest in hospitality took Sharon all the way to Singapore to open an Irish pub. Sharon is known to brew her own kombucha and milk kefir and makes soft cheese and yogurt from milk produced from their farm.

The couple lives on a farmhouse with their three children who are equally enthusiastic in the kitchen. The family farms beside the famous working monastery, Glenstal Abbey and close to the Wild Atlantic Way, and enjoy sharing with travelers stories about their family farm, its history and the advantages of a seasonal production system.

Please note: If you decide to make a stew (and you chose the dairy farm tour), you might start your cooking class before breaking for your farm tour to take advantage of the time it takes to prepare the stew.
